Krakow Technology Park is a public-owned non profit organisation, with a mission to support the development of innovative technological enterprises in the Malopolska Region. KPT is leader of regional digital innovation hub. It supports over 150 innovative companies, offering I4.0 solutions (start-ups, scale-ups and SME’s) and more than 200 industrial companies operating in Polish Investment Zone. KPT plays a key role in the economic growth offering its clients varied infrastructure (16000 m2 of coworking & office space, seminar & conference rooms), access to factory of the future showroom, state-of-the-art labs, trainings, information & consulting services, living lab services . KPT use the quadruple helix-stakeholder approach engaging with universities (AGH University, Cracow University of Technology, University of Economy), businesses + venture capitalists (Polish & Cracow Chamber of Commerce, INNOventure, Innovation Nest, Satus), local societies + local, regional & national governmental authorities (Ministry of Economic Development, Marshall Office of Malopolska Region, City of Krakow). KPT is the most recognized business support institution, having a strong impact on the regional policy making processes. It actively supported consultation and preparation of such important regional documents as Regional Innovation Strategy for Malopolska Region 2030 and Air Quality Plan 2020 – 2023.
